![]() I am very excited to play more of Ghost Hunters once things get polished up. I prefer co-op game play so Phasmo is what I am currently playing. Or give yourself a challenge by how you choose to play and interact with the building/ghost. Phasmo in a way is more levelled out so you can play a bit more relaxed but still get a bit spooky. There is less time to relax or goof around- unless you want to get chased. It is terrifying in a way Phasmo isn't because of some differences in the ghost behaviour. I love Ghost Hunters objectives, end goal and the variety of object interactions. Originally posted by Arkadia_Chios:Each game gives you a different type of paranormal entertainment. One thing I enjoy is that this game seems to give me more creeps than phasmo when I play alone which is awesome.Ĭan't wait until the game gets polished and smooth to play. I will play some more to learn since I still get a bit confused with the type of evidence, phasmo is a bit more clear in that sense. My answer is: If you can wait a little bit for updates I personally think Ghost Hunters is a much more enjoyable experience for ghost hunting. The biggest problem GHC has is that it came after Phasmo and it will seen as a cheap clone (which isn't). But like everyone said, Phasmo is way more polished but I think that's understandable since it's released like 9 months ago. And the diffculties are well balanced, they kinda even affect the exorcism ways (on higher difficulties exorcism takes more effort). The biggest difference is that Ghost Hunters offers exorcism and in general way more defend options. ![]() But tbh, you can enjoy both games, you get totally different feelings when you play them. Giving ghosts an ability to physically move stuff bigger than a beer can basically turns old ghosts into movie ghosts.Įven though movie ghosts are "stronger", the power they possess, and lack of details about the limits of those powers works against scare factor.Originally posted by ChickenChan:The Coop is kinda buggy and doesn't even work at all (at least for me). They are barely able to interact with the real world, but can cause people to hallucinate and die of scare(that is why they destroy person's sanity first, just to be able to harm him). Old ghosts are usually known to be "dead man's slipping grip on reality", being nothing more but an apparition, existing because of its last, the most powerful emotion, or memory. Movie ghosts are overexaggerated, overpowered, buffed with titan powers to manipulate landmasses and swap universes. The "old tales and superstitions" one, and "movie" one. Once again - it is just a different type of game. Current level of spooks, and ability to control how much you put yourself through is what makes it sweet, and I don't think Phasmo needs more. It is you who is annoying it, so you can do your job.Ībility to run away from a spook and have a safe haven somewhere on the map while not being completely useless is what gives the needed respite for newcomers, and horror genre newcomers. In this game, spook is not out to get you. In phasmo, nothing is out to spook you every 0.5 seconds, and I think it is exactly what makes it "boring" to you, and what I think makes it different. ![]() Most horror games follow a pretty simple formula of being followed by a spook while you're trying to do simple things, like collecting notes, or just linearly moving through the level. I think it is just different, and requires to have a taste for it. The game looks nice but its realy boring. Originally posted by Steffmaister:Please, make the game more scarier!!!
